Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what we never do with it. Last updated October 2026.
What we collect
- Without an account: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages visited) retained briefly for security and aggregate analytics. No advertising cookies.
- With a Google account: your Google ID, name, email and avatar, used to create your profile and to enforce one vote per person. Your email is never shown publicly.
- Your activity: ratings, signals, reviews, submissions and reports, tied to your account so you can edit or remove them.
What we do with it
Run the service, compute rankings, prevent abuse, and send transactional emails (for example when a listing is approved). We do not sell personal data. Sponsors receive aggregate statistics only.
Cookies
One session cookie (ht_session) keeps you signed in. A preference key in local storage remembers your theme. That is all.
Your rights
Email privacy@huntedtools.com to export or delete your data. Deleting your account removes your profile and anonymises your reviews.
Where data lives
On Cloudflare's network (Workers, D1, KV). Google handles sign-in under its own privacy policy.
