Listing and review guidelines
Short rules that keep the board useful for everyone.
What you can list
Any tool a person uses to get something done: websites, apps, software, hardware, hand tools, vehicles, kitchen gear, services. If you are unsure which category fits, pick the closest; admins can move it.
What you cannot list
- Anything illegal, or whose main purpose is harm, fraud or evading the law.
- Duplicates of an existing listing — add a review instead.
- Affiliate redirect links. Link the real website.
- Placeholder or "coming soon" pages with nothing to use.
Reviews
- Write about your own experience. One review per person per tool; you can edit it any time.
- Disclose if you work for or are paid by the maker.
- No insults, personal information or spam.
- Makers may not review or vote for their own tools. Ask real users.
Enforcement
Reported content is reviewed by a human. Fake reviews and vote manipulation lead to removal of the signals and, for repeat offenders, the account. Listings can be edited by admins for accuracy, never for rank.
